Another overseas airline is pulling out of Orlando International Airport

German airline Condor Flugdienst GmbH will cancel service between Orlando and Frankfurt, Germany, as of April 28, according to a note on its Web site. A reservation agent for the airline, which currently flies Orlando-Frankfurt twice a week, focusing primarily on leisure travelers, confirmed that the service will end and that there are no plans to bring it back next winter. Condor joins Dutch airline Martinair, which currently flies from OIA to both the Netherlands and Costa Rica, in deciding to leave Central Florida. Condor executives couldn’t be reached to explain the decision. But the Orlando-Frankfurt route is the same one the much bigger German airline Deutsche Lufthansa AG began flying earlier this fall with six flights a week.
